We should have compassion for those who have contracted this terrible disease. We should seek to serve them and love them into the Kingdom.

Though they may not have the same consequences, our sins separate us just as much from God. Just as we were forgiven, we should extend forgiveness and understanding toward others.

AIDS is not always contracted by immoral behavior. However, we can reduce our chances of contracting sexually transmitted diseases by obeying God.

• Romans 1:26-27 HCSB This is why God delivered them over to degrading passions. For even their females exchanged natural sexual intercourse for what is unnatural. 27 The males in the same way also left natural sexual intercourse with females and were inflamed in their lust for one another. Males committed shameless acts with males and received in their own persons the appropriate penalty for their perversion.
